Substrates should be selected depending on the location of the project and delivery logistics.

Biogas plant project should be planned basing on the results of substrates analyses, their amount, and biogas production potential. 

Each substrate type has different properties, different advantages and disadvantages, and may play a different role in the process of fermentation.
